[ FREESPACE RUNNER ]

Hello!
This is the page for the playtest version of [ FREESPACE RUNNER ] . In this game, you will make a mercenary (or RUNNER) using deep but easy to understand character creation rules, then go out into the world to do missions for various major factions. Completing these missions will let you upgrade your base and your character. as you unlock new gear you will discover new synergies and combos to make your character a force to be reckoned with.

Combat is fast, powerful, and lethal, with death around every corner. Out of combat, narrative rolls are a simple but powerful way of determining success that leaves the players ample room for creative solutions.

This game is a loveletter to Bungie, including halo, marathon, and destiny. I have also taken a great deal of inspiration to Gila RPG's Nova, Massif Press's Lancer, and Binary Star Games' incredible NOVA:BURNOUT. I would highly recommend you check out these other games.
